After their awesome engagement photography session and Victoria’s bridal portraits I knew that this wedding was going to be the perfect combination of beautiful and relaxed. I was right, it was a wonderful day. Since Victoria and Jeff opted to have an early afternoon wedding we did their first look mid morning and then did their newlywed portraits after their wedding. It allowed me to give them the best possible photos in the best possible light. I love when my couples understand the importance of their wedding photography and schedule enough time in their wedding day to really not rush through their photos.
I shot Nikki and Brian’s engagement photos in Baton Rouge. We split the session between the capital grounds and a few other downtown areas. The weather wasn’t great but we were rewarded with a beautiful sunset that we used to make a few nice silhouette shots.
We shot Victoria’s bridal portraits in baton rouge at the LSU Rural life center. It was threatening to rain all day, and actually started to drizzle a little bit. The wind was whipping around in circles and made Victoria’s beautiful mane of long blond locks fly around in every direction. It was interesting to say the least, but I think we got some great stuff even if the weather wasn’t the most cooperative.
Grace and Tyler decided they wanted to do a picnic engagement session at the rural life center in Baton Rouge. We made some great images. I’m really looking forward to Grace’s bridal portraits and their wedding.
Victoria and Jeff are an awesome couple, from the moment I met with them at their wedding consultation I knew that they were going to be so much fun to work with. They made my job super easy. They really are in love with each other and it shows in every photo.
