My little cousin recently had her first baby and I went to visit her and her new bundle of joy, and because I am rarely without my camera I had to take the opportunity to create a few photos. This is my favorite of the group.

This was a quick single snap self portrait I took in a New Orleans bathroom the day I shot Emily’s Trash the Dress session. I intentionally used the writing on the mirror as a point of focus, allowing myself to be out of focus due to shallow depth of field.
