This weeks photo of the week is a scan of a street photography image I made with my Holga. Holgas are “toy” cameras that take medium format film. They are cheap and made entirely of plastic including the lens. The beauty and appeal of the holga image comes from all the imperfections.
Daryl and Scott requested that when I shot their wedding photos that I do it in a black and white photo-journalistic style. For me that is second nature since my first formal photo training was in black and white film and for the first few years of my photo career I was a photojournalist.
